Posta Uganda is the national postal service provider, operating through over 300 Post Offices with more than 70,000 active mailboxes in over 30 major cities and towns across the country. With a commitment to excellence, we offer a wide array of services including mail and parcel delivery, express courier services, local and international money transfers, and access to essential e-government services. Our goal is to provide accessible, reliable, and affordable services that connect people and businesses, making communication and logistics seamless and efficient.

History

Established in 1951, Posta Uganda has a rich history as a cornerstone of communication in Uganda. Over the decades, we have evolved from a traditional postal service provider into a modern organization offering a diverse range of services that cater to the needs of a growing population. Our journey has been marked by innovation and growth, as we have expanded our network and introduced new services like the E-Postal Address, which allows customers to manage their mail online. Throughout our history, we have remained dedicated to our mission of connecting communities and facilitating communication across Uganda and beyond.
