How To Apply
For Account Holders:
- The payer sends a request for a giro transfer to Posta Uganda.
- Posta Uganda verifies the funds, debits the payer’s account, and credits the payee’s account.
For Non-Account Holders:
- The payer presents the transfer amount in cash to Posta Uganda.
- Posta Uganda processes the giro transfer and sends the necessary documents to the recipient.
- The recipient, with the payment reference number, can collect the funds from any EURO GIRO agent.
Pricing
- The sender typically pays a flat fee, with no additional charges for the receiver.
